Intense cherry red colour, with violet tones.Fruit aromas, good varietal expression and freshness. Its flavour is smooth and rounded on entry with very pleasant, velvety sensations. Its tannic structure is elegant and very well constituted, its aftertaste is noteworthy for its lasting finish.
Marked by climatic challenges (hailstorms, high pressure from mildew and summer heat) that resulted in lower production, positioning it as one of the shortest harvests of the 21st century. Despite the challenges, the harvested grapes were of extremely high quality, with adequate phenolic ripeness, good acidity and structured tannins. It was a season of great technical and phytosanitary effort, which ensured the health of the fruit.
The result is wines with great colour depth (cherry red), good acidity, powerful structure and marked tannins, ideal for ageing.
